In the second quarter of 2024, the US Android scene for Music and Podcasts applications has seen varied performance trends. Here's a rundown of how the top applications fared during this period, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintained its strong market presence with revenues starting at around $64K in the first week of April and seeing a dip to approximately $55K by the end of June. Downloads peaked in mid-May at over 33K and saw a gradual decrease to around 28K by late June. Weekly active users showed a steady trend, hovering around 7.9M throughout the quarter.

Podimo - Podcasts & Audiobooks experienced a revenue high of $16K in early April, which contracted to about $13K towards the end of June. Downloads showed a significant spike in early June, reaching over 3K, while weekly active users saw a slight increase from 19K to just over 20K in the same timeframe.

For Podcast & Radio iVoox, revenues exhibited a rising trend from $3.8K in early April to over $5K by late June. Downloads fluctuated, with a noticeable dip to around 7.5K in the final week of June from a high of over 10K in late May. Active users reached a peak of 120K in mid-April, ending the quarter with a slight increase to 113K.

Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts saw its revenue fluctuate, starting the quarter at nearly $4K and rising to $3.5K by the end of June. Downloads began at approximately 13K and experienced a dip to about 11K in the same period. Weekly active users had a decline from 440K in early April to around 401K in mid-June before rebounding to 448K in the last week of June.

Lastly, Deezer: Music & Podcast Player showcased a revenue range between $2.4K and $2.2K through the quarter. Downloads started at around 1.3K and saw a decrease to just over 1K by the end of June, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight drop from 230K to 225K.
